Hi everyone,

In case you were wondering why I haven't been active for this month, that's because I'm taking off the month of July for some much-needed R&R. I also just had surgery. Yup, Surgery! FYI, it is #fibroidawarenessmonth and coincidentally, I had a myomectomy.

If you're not sure what fibroids are, well they're some icky growths that happen in or around the womb and mostly affect black women's bodies. The recovery time is 4-6 weeks so I am going to just say I'm on vacation.
